Career and Academic Advising

Career planning includes understanding one's abilities and interests, relating them to the world of work, making decisions and finding purposes for the future.

Academic advising includes managing time, improving motivation and concentration, developing more effective study skills, exploring two-year and four-year college opportunities and selecting majors that match students' interests and abilities.

There is a wealth of information in books and on the Internet about colleges, majors and careers.  If you are unsure or undecided about your future plans, visit the Achievement Center to get help with making these decisions!
