Mentoring and Personal Advising

The Achievement Center has established a Mentoring Program that is designed to provide support for first-time students and also for students who might profit from having extra support.  If you feel you would benefit from having a mentor to help guide you through your college responsibilities, please contact us.

Personal Advising is available to assist students.  In special circumstances, Dabney S. Lancaster Community College (DSLCC) will make referrals to the Alleghany Highlands Community Service Board for personal counseling services for students.  Names and numbers of professional counselors may also be obtained from the Student Development Advisor in the Achievement Center.

Sign up for a personal mentor!
