Distance Learning

Distance learning makes it possible for students to complete some college classes anytime and anywhere.  An increasing number of DSLCC courses are offered in a variety of formats.  Some classes require students to meet with the instructor on a limited basis and other courses require independent study with live or electronic submission of assignments to the instructor.  Selected courses allow students to meet all requirements via the internet.

Course codes used with the schedules of classes indicate whether the courses are independent study, web-based or web-enhanced. Students who have questions about the format of the course or the ways in which assignments are completed should contact the instructor before registering for the class.

It is the policy of Dabney S. For concerns or information requests pertaining to students, contact the Director of Student Services and Research (540/863-2850).
