The following departments and locations provide services to Dabney S. Lancaster Community College (DSLCC) students.

The Achievement Center

The Achievement Center provides academic and personal support services to eligible DSLCC students in an effort to assist them in achieving their educational, personal and career goals.

Rockbridge Regional Center

The Rockbridge Regional Center is an integral part of the Rockbridge community, offering day and evening classes and a full range of student support services.

Student Activities

Student Activities offers recreational, cultural and educational programs, enhancing the DSLCC student experience.

Student Services - General Information

Student Services includes admissions, financial aid, academic advising, transcripts, placement testing and course registration.

Institutional Research

Institutional Research provides valuable and informative data for DSLCC constituents.

Job Placement Assistance and Career Services


DSLCC offers job placement assistance and career services for students. Help is available for individuals who are planning to select or change a career path.  Assistance is available with taking assessments, selecting a major, and preparing to search for a job.  For an appointment to explore careers, develop resumes and cover letters, and prepare for job interviews, contact Carol Corson at 540/863-2914 or ccorson@dslcc.edu. Free workshops on specific career-related topics are held throughout the academic year.  

Students who would like help with finding job leads and getting information about applying for current job openings should contact Pam Deeds at 540/863-2920 or pdeeds@dslcc.edu.

Students are also invited to view the various career planning resources that are available in the Learning Resources Center on the main campus.  Staff members are available to assist students who are seeking assistance with career exploration, developing job search materials and locating information about employment opportunities in specific fields.  For more information about the LRC’s career resources and services, call 540/863-2864.
