Educational Foundation

A non-profit organization established in 1980, the Dabney S. Lancaster Community College Educational Foundation's mission is to support the college by helping to provide an accessible, quality education for students who reside in the area and to offer other forms of assistance to fund educational and cultural activities and programs that complement the mission of the institution.

Each year the Foundation awards thousands of dollars in merit scholarships to deserving and talented students.  Since 1980, hundreds of student scholarships have been awarded to students from Alleghany, Bath County, Covington, James River, Parry McCluer, and Rockbridge County High Schools.

Gifts to the DSLCC Educational Foundation make it possible for the Board of Directors to carry on the work of the organization and expand available resources each year. Learn more about ways to express support for the Foundation.
