BUILDING HOPE...BUILDING FUTURES...BUILDING LIVES...

     This is the goal of the DSLCC Educational Foundation as it works to secure the resources necessary to provide affordable access to an educaitno that is vital to an individual's success.  Since 1980, throught the generosity of its donors, the non-profit foundation has awarded more than $850,000 in scholarships to residents of the College's service area--Alleghany, Bath, northern Botetourt, and Rockbridge Counties, and the cities of Buena Vista, Covington, and Lexington.  By "growing" educated citizens, the Foundation no only helps to improve people's lives, it also plays a critical role in economic development efforts.

All proceeds from "Boogie on the Bayou" benefit the Educational Foundation and its scholarship programs.
