Urban Forestry Career Studies Certificate - Beginning Fall 2010

The Urban Forestry Career Studies Certificate is intended to provide a distinct segment of the forestry industry with skilled workers.  This certificate will provide the student with skill sets requisite for employment in the field that attends to the growth, management, care and conservation of vegetation in the public and private urban settings.

Program Requirements

   Students are required to complete work-based experiences and volunteer experiences.

The Forest Management Department will assist with placement; however, the student is ultimately responsible for locating and retaining the position as a volunteer or paid employee.
